League champion Midland saw eight players land first-team honors on the 2024 all-Saginaw Valley League North squad. And Zack Steger was two of them. The senior played a vital - and unique - dual role for the Chemics, starring on the offensive line and kicker. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder was a key blocker for the Midland attack while booting 27 PATs and three field goals. Cole Phillips and Riley Olson of Mount Pleasant's league-leading offense and Brayden Popa, Jackson Gallagher and Noah Dumon of Traverse City West's top-ranked defense headline the first teams.
