Check Out This Pro-Shot Footage of Aborted’s Set at Motocultor 2024
It's wild the kind of shots people get these days while filming live shows. Where we once had to rely on shoulder-mounted cameras and massive crews to get great footage, now we have drones and cameras on ziplines to get sweeping footage of the band and crowd feeding off each other.
Late last month, we got word from a French non-profit audio/visual production association known as Impuls' Live that they'd filmed Aborted 's performance during this year's Motocultor Festival in Carhaix, France. We'd initially expected the kind of production you'd get from the folks at hate5six or something along those lines, but this was another level entirely. (That's not to rag on hate5six or anything, mind you, those guys fucking rule.)
From the insanely well shot footage to the crystal clear audio and everything in between, the footage you're about to check out below rules, man. With the band playing a set list that largely focused around their latest album Vault Of Horror, it's a hell of a show. And thanks to the efforts of Impuls' Live, we can live vicariously through everyone that attended that night.
