If your morning cup of coffee isn't complete without a splash of creamer, you may want to check the packaging before using it. International Delight, which is known for its delicious coffee creamers, is recalling 10,000 bottles due to mislabeling, according to a report from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). On October 12, Danone LLC announced a recall of its International Delight Zero Sugar Peppermint Mocha coffee creamer because it was mislabeled as zero sugar but contains sugar. The product was sold in stores in Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. The product was packaged in 32-ounce plastic bottles with a best-by date of February 25, 2025. The FDA has set the risk level for this recall to Class II. Per the FDA , a Class II recall is defined as: "a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote." The Peppermint Mocha Zero Sugar coffee creamer is part of International Delight's "Home Alone" collection. The company's other "Home Alone" creamers, including Hot Chocolate Marshmallow, and Frosted Sugar Cookie, have not been recalled.
