Chrissy Teigen is getting called out by fans for letting her eight-year-old daughter Luna put her bare feet on the kitchen counter as she cooked at home this week.

The model, 38, uploaded a short clip on Tuesday of herself preparing a large pot of Jok Moo, a hearty Thai porridge made with rice and pork, from a 'family recipe.'

Chrissy, whose mother is Thai, said that Jok Moo is her 'ultimate comfort recipe' and that it was her first time making it for all four of her children.

In the video, Chrissy is hovered over the stove as she and Luna add spoonfuls of pork to the boiling pot of porridge.

Luna is seen squatting on the marble countertop, just inches away from the food, without shoes or socks on while carefully adding her meatballs to the pot.

While many fans praised Chrissy for involving her young kids in the kitchen, others criticized her for allowing Luna's 'dirty feet' on the counter.

'Umm feet on the counter ??? Why I don't do potlucks!! Sorry personal preference,' one remarked.

Another added: 'It's cute little one helping, but don't like how she stay by foot (sic) on the kitchen'

One fan said that feet on the counter just isn't 'sanitary.'

'Is it me? But why are dirty feet on the counter? I love you guys, but that doesn't seem sanitary,' they wrote.

But hoards of Teigen's loyal followers flocked to the comments in her defense.

One sternly declared: 'It's their home. They can do what they want'

Another felt it was ridiculous that people assumed Teigen would be serving dinner where Luna had just placed her feet.

'do you think they are going to throw their dinner right where her feet are and start eating?? Like I'm pretty sure everything is pretty spotless,' the comment read.

Some went as far as to tell Teigen's critics to 'get a life.'

Chrissy has yet to respond to the online backlash.

In Tuesday's Instagram post, Teigen revealed what inspired her to make the porridge dish and even shared her 'family recipe' with her 42million followers.

'I think we could all use a good recipe. The past few months have us all feeling stress, unease, discomfort and uncertainty,' the Cravings founder wrote.

'We can find peace in all sorts of things - therapies, art, breaking things in a rage room. But for me, one of the best things we can do for ourselves is fill our bellies with a wonderful meal.'

She said that she's been eating Jok Moo since she was a baby and that it's the 'most ultimate hangover cure!'

'I finally made my babies our family recipe for jok moo - a hearty rice porridge made with spiced pork meatballs. The aroma of fresh ginger, green onion, cilantro and garlic will fill your kitchen and the warmth of the creamy rice porridge will warm your bellies,' Teigen continued.

'I have about 298 people in my home on a daily basis so I make LOADS at a time but this soup can easily be frozen to eat whenever.

She told fans to 'enjoy' after sharing a detailed recipe in the caption of her Instagram post.

Along with the footage of her and Luna working together in the kitchen, Teigen also uploaded a short clip of her son Wren, one, eating the porridge in his highchair.

Chrissy shares all four of her children — Luna, eight, Miles, six, Esti, one, and Wren, one — with husband of 11 years, John Legend.

She and the 45-year-old EGOT winner wed back in 2013.

Luna, Miles and Wren were all conceived naturally while the couple welcomed daughter Esti via surrogate in 2023.
