Christmas at the Caverns: celebrate the holidays in natural wonder!
SAN ANTONIO - Looking for a fun way to get into the holiday spirit season? Visit one of Texas's great natural wonders!
Starting Saturday, Dec. 7, and running through Dec. 23, the Natural Bridge Caverns will be packed with family-favorite traditions and holiday magic!
The annual event will be filled with live music, s'mores, caroling, Mrs. Claus, and a magical walking trail of lights.
"Each year, we look for ways to make our Christmas event a big part of celebrating the magic of the season," said Brad Wuest, President of Natural Bridge Caverns. "We're blessed to give our guests a unique holiday experience that combines the beauty of the cavern with the joyful talents of so many talented musicians from every corner of our community."
Christmas at the Caverns will take place on Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15, and 20-23rd, with local regional performers taking to the cavers for Caroling in the Cavern, filling the unique setting with holiday music.
Grammy-nominated artist Jerry McComb will be performing a live underground concert on Dec. 20, complete with storytelling, and several above-ground holiday activities.
The Trail of Lights will take visitors through several beautifully lit scenes, showcasing some of their favorite characters, completed by a 30-foot-tall Christmas tree.
The Discovery Village Skating Rink and Reindeer Round-Up will also be returning to the Christmas at the Caverns, allowing kids to adventure and enjoy the season.
Natural Bridge Caverns will also be taking the opportunity to support the Food Bank, with every guest who brings a non-perishable food item receiving a free s'more!
