MOUNTAIN TOP: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 316 S. Mountain Blvd., is hosting a bus trip to Rockvale and QVC outlets in Lancaster. The bus leaves promptly at 7:30 a.m. from the church. The cost is determined by participation. Return trip is at 5:30 p.m. Dinner at restaurants in Rockvale is not included in the cost. Contact Florence Drum, 570-678-3095.
Part two of a four part free christian concert series will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, and will feature Broken Road Duo, a local country duo from Plains. A meet and greet will follow with signing of CD’s.

OLYPHANT: SS. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 133 River St., Holy Saturday, is offering new time and places for “Blessing of the Baskets:
Starting at 2 p.m. “Blessing of the Baskets” will be first at St. Cyril’s parking lot, 207 River St. Then at 4 p.m. the Vesperal Divine Liturgy (Resurrection and Easter Divine Liturgy) of St. Basil the Great.
Followed at 6 p.m. The second “Blessing of the Baskets” at the “Shrine of Our Lady of Zhyrovytsi” behind the church and rectory on Grant Street.
WEST PITTSTON: The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 317 Luzerne Ave., Easter Sunday special combined departmental Sunday School Easter program at 9:30 a.m.; Resurrection Day services at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. All are welcome.

PLAINS: The Women’s Society of SS. Peter & Paul Church is hosting a bus trip to Woodloch Pines for dining and music at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 9.
The bus departs from the Wyoming Valley Mall at 3:30 p.m arriving for happy hour cash bar. Dinner served at 6 p.m., includes a seafood appetizer, choice of one of four entrees, dessert and beverage.
