City of Springfield to hold public meeting for Galloway widening project

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The City of Springfield is holding a public information session on Tuesday about the Galloway Street Widening Project.

City staff will provide an update on the construction and information about upcoming traffic impacts and closures that residents in the area need to know.

City Council to vote on federal grant for Springfield Police Department

The project involves widening Galloway Street to three lanes between Luster Avenue and Lone Pine Avenue and implementing safety improvements along Galloway.

The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. at All Saint Anglican Church on Galloway Street.
