City of Tuscaloosa accepting applications for Zoning Board of Adjustments position

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The City of Tuscaloosa is accepting applications for a position on the Zoning Board of Adjustments, with the term ending Sept. 28, 2027.
Formed in 1959, the Zoning Board of Adjustments decides requests for special exceptions, authorizes any variances from the Zoning Ordinance and weighs in on appeals. Members must be residents of Tuscaloosa and be available to attend monthly meetings.
