FIELD HOCKEY

  • Eastern Mennonite senior forward Morgan Leslie (Louisa) scored her second and third goals of the season in the Lions' 2-0 victory over visiting Southern Virginia on Nov. 5. In her four years, she has tallied 26 goals and 52 points.
  • Randolph-Macon senior forward/midfielder Alaina McCoy (Stafford) scored her fourth goal of the season and contributed an assist in the Yellow Jackets' 9-0 shutout of homestanding Eastern Mennonite on Oct. 30. In that game, freshman midfielder Olivia Greene (Culpeper) provided two assists, her first ones of the season.
  • Slippery Rock senior forward/midfielder Leslie Colliver (Brooke Point) had back-to-back road games with assists, a 2-1 Slippery Rock victory over Mercyhurst and a 4-1 lost to Bloomsburg.
  • Morgan State sophomore quarterback Tajh Smith of Fredericksburg completed 19 of 28 attempts for 179 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 38-37 win over visiting Norfolk State. For the season, he is 65 of 116 for 708 yards with an interception and the score.
  • VMI senior defensive back Noel Innocent (Colonial Forge) had three solo tackles and assisted on another in the Keydets' 31-10 loss to host Chattanooga on Oct. 26. Teammate redshirt-sophomore linebacker
  • Ethen Horne had two solo tackles and three assisted tackles in VMI's 21-17 victory over Furman.
  • Louisiana-Monroe junior wide receiver Javon Campbell (King George) had two catches for 77 yards in the Warhawks' 46-17 loss at South Alabama on Oct. 26.
  • Hampton freshman linebacker Michael Matthews-Canty (Saint Michael) had six solo tackles in the Pirates' 20-14 loss to Villanova on Nov. 2. He has 17 tackles (13 solo, four assisted) on the season.
  • Lock Haven redshirt junior tight end Chris Hicks (North Stafford) pulled in six receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown in the Bald Eagles' 27-16 loss to West Chester on Nov. 2. For the season, Hicks has 23 catches for 315 yards and two scores.
  • Averett senior Killian O'Reilly (Culpeper) also turned in a top-10 individual performance for the Cougars, shooting a 5-over round at the O'Brient-Jensen Memorial hosted by Guilford College on Oct. 29. Averett finished in fifth place in the tournament.
  • Virginia-Wise freshman Emma Zelaski (Louisa) went 82-80 to finish in ninth place at the Atomic City Classic in Oak Ridge, Tenn., Oct.21-22.
  • MEN'S SOCCER

  • Eastern Mennonite junior defenseman Matt Arledge (Fredericksburg Christian) had his third assist of the season in the Lions' 2-2 draw with Ferrum on Oct. 30.
  • Emory & Henry junior forward A.J. Dale (King George) scored his first goal of the season in the Wasps' 6-2 loss to visiting Concord.
  • WOMEN'S SOCCER

  • Frostburg State freshman forward Amber Ignudo (Courtland) recorded an assist in the Bobcats' 4-1 victory over host Wheeling on Oct. 30.
  • Randolph freshman midfielder Rozzalyn Jackson (Massaponax) scored her third goal of the season in the Cougars' 6-0 victory over visiting Hollins on Oct. 26.
  • VCU sophomore goaltender Emma Clements (Fredericksburg Academy) has made 52 saves this season and has 1.56 goals-allowed percentage.
  • Roanoke junior Victoria Rios (Brooke Point) won her singles match in straight sets (6-0, 6-1) and her doubles matches] (6-1) in a 4-0 sweep over host Johnson and Wales on Oct. 25
