College notebook: Woolridge helps Randolph-Macon reach NCAA quarterfinals
His statistics don't always reflect his importance to his team. But for a day, at least, Brandon Woolridge enjoyed both personal and team success.
After being named to the all-Old Dominion Athletic Conference first team, the senior tight end from James Monroe High School caught a 53-yard touchdown pass in Randolph-Macon's 48-0 second-round NCAA Division III tournament victory over Ithaca (N.Y.) Saturday.
