Colorado Springs weather: Cooler temps Thursday, warming up heading into the weekend
Colorado Springs is forecast for gradually clearing skies Thursday as wintery storms move out of the area, allowing for sunny skies to appear as the day progresses.
"Highs this afternoon will be chilly, only warming into the 30s and 40s here in the Pikes Peak Region," Meteorologist Alan Rose with Gazette news partner KOAA, said.
Expect mostly cloudy skies Thursday and a high reaching 46 degrees. A light wind from the southeast is forecast to range from 5 to 10 mph.
Temps are expected to drop to the low 20s Thursday night, with moderate, fall-like weather in the forecast for the remainder of the week.
"A fall-like chill will remain in our forecast on Friday," Rose said,

"Our temperatures will continue to warm into the weekend, with lower 50s Saturday and middle 50s by Sunday."
