Concord wins first volleyball regional title since 2014

The Concord volleyball team beat Mendon on Thursday to claim its first regional title since 2014, the 10th in program history.

The Yellowjackets picked up a 14-25, 31-29, 25-19, 22-25, 15-5 win over the No. 3-ranked team in the state in Division 4.

Iyla Weeks had 41 kills and 10 digs for Concord. Annie Saenz had 21 digs and 12 kills. Jaylyn Otto had seven kills and four digs. Bradie Lehman had 57 assists, 28 digs and was 22-for-22 serving. Emma Burbo had 19 kilds and seven kills. Bella Coppernoll was 15-for-15 serving. Lilie Vandenburgh had 11 digs.

Concord faces St. Joseph Our Lady of the Lakes in Tuesday's quarterfinal at Gull Lake.
