Converge release new live album to raise funds for Hurricane Helene relief

American hardcore veterans Converge have released a new live album to raise funds for Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

This past weekend, the band took to social media to announce the album, titled 'Live in Orlando, FL 03.14.22'. The album was recorded at The Abbey in Orlando, Florida in March 2022 and consists of 18 tracks including 'Under Duress', 'I Can Tell You About Pain' and 'Concubine'.

The album is out now via Bandcamp – you can donate to the cause and listen to the album here .

Per the band's announce, the live album "aims to offer financial aid to those impacted by Hurricane Helene". Converge have also confirmed that "all proceeds from this release will be donated to Mutual Aid Disaster Relief" – you can find out more about the organisation here .

With the album, Converge are now one of many musicians and acts that have donated money or are raising funds to support those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Earlier this month, Hurricane Helene hit the Southeastern states of the US, laying waste to cities such as Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and many more. At the time of writing, the hurricane has resulted in an estimate of more than 220 deaths , while hundreds of others remain missing. Hundreds of thousands of homes are without power and infrastructural damage is widespread.

Since then, Dolly Parton has donated US$1million of her own money to relief efforts , while Morgan Wallen donated half of that to provide aid to those in need .
