Cooler today with a mild stretch this weekend
A few clouds may linger in southeastern Minnesota this morning but should clear up for the afternoon. Highs stay cooler than they have been, staying in the low 40s with a light breeze out of the northwest to start the morning, but shifting to a light southwest breeze in the evening at around 5-10 mph. Clear skies and warmer temperatures return with a light westerly breeze and highs in the mid-50s for Saturday. Wind shifts to out of the southeast but remain light with highs staying in the mid-50s for Sunday. Clouds return and a scattered shower is possible for Monday, with highs staying in the 40s. The main cool down begins Tuesday, with a breeze out of the northwest bringing in cooler air and keeping highs in the mid-30s even with a mostly sunny day. Highs will then linger just below freezing for the rest of the week and into the weekend, with lows beginning to drop into the teens going into Thursday and Friday.
