Country music star falls face

Country singer Darius Rucker had a nasty fall while performing with Hootie & the Blowfish at Riverfront Revival in Charleston, South Carolina, on Saturday.

In a fan-captured video, Rucker, 58, began performing the first verse of his 2009 solo hit "Alright." That's when he appeared to trip on an onstage monitor and fall face-first. "I'm old as f-," Rucker proclaimed to the audience.

Later on, touring keyboard player Lee Turner pointed out the spot where Rucker fell, and they took a moment to laugh. After finishing the song, Rucker addressed the crowd, saying, "We've been doing this all summer. I hadn't fallen once. But I busted my a- in my hometown."

The Riverfront Revival performance was the end of Hootie & the Blowfish's 43-city tour in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their highly successful album, "Cracked Rear View."
