Cowboys vs. Seahawks predictions: Thursday Night Football picks, odds, more for Week 13

The NFL season has reached its sprint portion of the marathon, as teams are vying for playoff positions in two crowded playoff races. We’ll have a late-season battle between two potential NFC playoff teams as the Dallas Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football

Dallas comes into this week after a 45-10 beatdown of the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving. Dak Prescott leads the NFL in EPA/play since Week 7, and is playing himself into the MVP conversation as the Cowboys looked primed to own the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoffs .

The Seahawks are on the other end of the spectrum right now. They were beaten rather handedly at home last Thursday by the San Francisco 49ers . Seattle holds the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoff picture , but they have a daunting rest of their schedule.

Pick against the spread The Cowboys are 8-3 against the spread this season, tied for the most covers in the league. They have also been playing at a completely different level as of late, and they look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders. With how poorly the Seahawks have looked in recent weeks, and with Geno Smith struggling, I’ll take Dallas and the points.

The pick: Cowboys -9

Point total I don’t see Seattle putting up a crazy amount of points throughout. We’ll see an early back and forth, but Dallas pulls away in the second half and keeps the Seahawks off the scoreboard for the most part. I’ll take the Cowboys to win 27-17, thus hitting the under.

The pick: Under 47.5
