Cowboys-Commanders live updates: Dallas ‘kicking the tires’ on LB Shaquille Leonard

Coming off two blowout victories, the Dallas Cowboys (7-3) wrap up the “soft” stretch of their schedule against the Washington Commanders (4-7) on Thanksgiving at AT&T Stadium . Beyond the game, c ountry music legend Dolly Parton will perform at halftime to kick off the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign.

Early updates(9:00 a.m.) The Cowboys are doing their due diligence on free agent linebacker Shaquille Leonard according to a person with knowledge of the situation. It remains unclear whether Dallas is aggressively pursuing the three-time All-Pro linebacker or not.

Cowboys are kicking the tires on LB Darius Leonard, a person w/ knowledge of the club’s thinking said. Wouldn’t characterize it as aggressively pursuing at this point.
