Crestwood edges Coughlin in 13 innings in WVC baseball
Anthony Kovalchik knocked in two runs and Connor Kaminski pitched two innings of relief for the win as Crestwood outlasted Coughlin 5-2 Saturday in Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 baseball.
Kaminski, Crestwood’s fourth pitcher, allowed two hits after taking over for Colin Macko. Justin Darden was 3 for 6 for the Comets.
Marco Dressler was 3 for 5 with an RBI for Coughlin. Eric Christian had the Crusaders’ other RBI.
Holy Redeemer 10,

Tony Molitoris scattered three hits as he shut out MMI Prep in a game ended after five innings.
Tom Bourm, Rob McClay and Dean Ambrosie each doubled and had two RBIs.
Wyoming Seminary 8,
Susquehanna 0
Alicia Carr paced a 13-hit attack, going 4 for 4 with three RBIs to lead Wyoming Seminary to an 8-0 victory over Susquehanna in a non-conference high school softball game Saturday afternoon.
Carr has a home run and double among her four hits. Delaney Romanchik had a double and two RBI. Aubrey Mytych, Julia Iskra and Alexus Dunn all had two hits, with Dunn doubling and Mytych adding an RBI.
Delaney Romanchik picked up the win, striking out nine and surrendering five hits.
The Blue Knights play at Holy Redeemer on Monday in a battle of unbeaten Wyoming Valley Conference Division 3 teams.

Cassie Konopki homered, doubled and knocked in three runs as the Black Knights won a non-conference game.
Corrina Scoblick had a double, single and two RBI. Amy Supey also drove in two runs. Savannah Purdy, Chloe VanGorder and Hunter Kline all added two hits.
Abbey Hogan struck out 11 for Lehman.
BOYS LACROSSE
Tunkhannock 10,
Lakeland 6
Hunter Grow scored four goals and dished off two assists as the Tigers rolled to victory.
Adam Martin added three goals and an assist in the win, while Bradley Martin finished with two goals and an assist. Trae Cole also scored a goal for Tunkhannock, and Izaiah Simon and Joe Elias had an assist apiece. Goalie Sergey Montross had 13 saves for Tunkhannock.
Lakeland scorers were Lucas Snedeker with 2 goals, while Gary Snipes, Nick Moczuski, Gavin Kopa, and Mason Erdman each had a goal. Chiefs goalie Ricky Turner finished with six saves.

Bryce Hareldsen made 12 saves, but Vernon scored 12 times to take the victory.
Josh Balcarcel and Rhett Padgett scored Delaware Valley’s goals.

Christina Kilyanek scored four times and Kate Romanowski registered three goals and two assists as the Blue Knights built an 8-2 halftime lead and cruised to victory.
Abby Straub and Grace Leahy each had two goals in the victory, while Emily Sims and Mary Therese Lehman had a goal and an assist. Sem goalie Mia Raineri had six saves.
