Crews battle ‘wind-driven’ fire in Cleveland
CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland fire crews on Tuesday reported they were called out for multiple garages on fire.
The Cleveland Fire Department posted on X at about 11 a.m. details of a scene near E. 175th and E. 176th Streets, south of St. Clair Avenue.

According to the post, the fire was determined to be accidental and due to an electrical issue.
Crews called the fire, "wind-driven."

According to FOX 8 Meteorologists , Tuesday was expected to be the warmest and windiest day of the week. Wind gusts above 30 miles per hour were expected during the afternoon hours.
About an hour later, the Association of Cleveland Firefighters: IAFF Local 93 reported on X "heavy fire" in the nearby 800 block of E. 150th Street. The post said multiple structures were on fire including several garages and a house.
Cleveland Fire reports 60 firefighters fought flames to 4 houses and 4 garages. A firefighter was taken to the hospital with a back injury.
It's not clear if the series of fires are related or caused by similar issues.
