Crews work to restore power after crash causes outage in Holland Twp

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — An early Sunday morning crash in Holland Township caused a power outage.

Around 12:50 a.m., deputies with the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office were sent to the area of Butternut Drive near Hayes Street for a crash.

Responding deputies learned that a vehicle had left the roadway and hit a power pole. The power pole snapped and lines were in the roadway.

The sheriff's office said that there was an outage in the area due to the crash.

The driver was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
