Crime Reports: Unknown subject breaks into Abilene church, stays the night

4200 block of Burl Harris Drive – Theft of Property A Louis Vuitton purse valued at $2,710 and identifying documents were reported stolen from a vehicle.
4900 block of South 7th Street – Burglary of Building A church reported that an unknown person broke a window and stayed in the building overnight. At the time of the report, nothing was reported stolen.
2000 block of Poplar Street – Credit Card Abuse A woman contacted APD with a completed fraud packet for credit/debit card abuse.
2800 block of North 6th Street – Criminal Trespass No public narrative was provided.
200 block of West Overland Trail – Theft of Property A victim reported that a known person stole their earphones valued at $250.
2000 block of South Clack Street – Assault Family Violence A report was taken for Assault Family Violence.
2300 block of South 14th Street – Robbery An unknown man attempted to steal beer from a southside business, leading to him striking the attendant.
1300 block of Cedar Crest Drive – Assault Family Violence Officers were dispatched to an assault. No arrests were made.
1200 block of Buccaneer Drive – Assault A 37-year-old man at a Southside residence allegedly assaulted a 25-year-old man.
1800 block of East Overland Trail – Theft of Motor Vehicle Abilene Police investigated a stolen vehicle that was taken from a north Abilene hotel parking lot. The investigation is ongoing.
