Cris Collinsworth Hints at Rift Between Cowboys Stars Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb
Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb had a miscommunication during a crucial possession late in the first half against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, leading a sideline exchange involving the two Dallas Cowboys stars.
Prescott looked Lamb's way, but the decision was not a good one. Steelers defensive back Donte Jackson stepped in front of the pass and picked off Prescott.
The turnover was the second of the night in the red zone for Prescott, who also fumbled on a sack earlier.
After the interception, Lamb appeared to bark at Prescott on the sideline. The Cowboys quarterback didn't respond or even look up.
"Something is wrong. You see Lamb at the end of that. I'll let you read your own lips," Collinsworth said . "Dak doesn't react at all. It doesn't look good.
"Not a bit," added NBC play-by-play voice Mike Tirico.
It was likely just a heated moment between the two stars, who have previously expressed support for one another. But at 2-2, the Cowboys' tensions are high, and they could not afford a loss against the Steelers.
Dallas needs its two stars to be on the same page. Both signed monster extensions prior to this season. Lamb inked a four-year, $136 million contract . Prescott signed a four-year, $240 million deal , making him the first player in league history with a $60 million average per year salary.
