Critical illness recovery care to move from St. E’s

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -A special health care provider that is set up on the fourth floor of St. Elizabeth Hospital is relocating to its Boardman stand-alone location.
Select Specialty Hospital – Youngstown will be closing because its lease with Mercy Health expires on Dec. 31.
Select Specialty said Monday that there will be no gap in critical recovery care because it is expanding its Boardman location on South Avenue. Clinical staff will also transfer to that location.
The location at St. Elizabeth's includes 31 beds, according to the company's website.
