Curmel Moton Predicts Sean Garcia’s Fate Against Undefeated Amado Vargas

Sean Garcia, the younger brother of Ryan Garcia , is ready to show the world what he is made of. The 23-year-old lightweight prospect is about to lock horns with undefeated Amado Vargas on the undercard of Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal boxing match on July 6 at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Meanwhile, Amado's gymmate and friend, Curmel Moton has shared his predictions for the fight.

The biggest name in Mayweather Promotions' stable, 'Big Deal' Moton appeared in an interview with Fight Hype during the recent press conference for the upcoming event in Anaheim, California. That's when the reporter probed him about his thoughts on the clash between Garcia and Vargas a couple of days from today!

It's also worth mentioning that the younger Garcia brother previously squared off against Vargas back in June 2017 during their amateur run. The three-round bout at Whittier, California, saw Garcia emerge victorious via a unanimous decision. Despite sharing his prediction for the fight, Moton seems to have sided with his gym mate.

Moton said, "I know Sean's right there, but I'm going to go with my guy Amado, you know. I know Amado personally". Claiming Sean Garcia is a "cool" guy and he spoke to him backstage, Moton added, "I've known Amado growing up and I've been in the ring with Amado. So I'm going to go with Amado".

Interestingly, Vargas is coming off a unanimous decision win over Ezequiel Flores, who most fans would remember as the debut opponent for Moton himself. Regardless, after defeating his last ten opponents, four via KO, Vargas seems to have a longer resume. In contrast, Ryan Garcia's brother has fought eight professional bouts, winning seven and drawing one.

Despite being far from the most exciting fight of the night at Anaheim, their past rivalry seems to be heating up as fight night draws closer.

Sean Garcia vs. Amado Vargas: Verbal jabs thrown at press conference Unlike his brother, Sean is known for his calm demeanor, especially when it comes to dealing with his opponents before the fight. However, during their press conference off late , Garcia shed the cloak of calm and the duo exchanged some fiery barbs, leaving the audience present at the venue in shock.

Taking the mic, Garcia said, "I am down to get down to business Saturday, and I will be the first to say it, F**k the dinasty. I am here to fight". This seems to have elicited an instant retort from Vargas, who quickly took the mix to state, "I will beat the b**ch out of you... First couple of rounds, he will be great... he is a four rounder. I am on a different level than him. I am gonna beat the f**k out you"

With that said, despite being far down on the undercard, Ryan Garcia and Amado Vargas have hyped up fans for their clash on Saturday night. Meanwhile, Curmel Moton is betting on Amado to win this fight, but only time will tell who is the better boxer. Who will you be cheering for?
