DACC accepting applications for board vacancy

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The Danville Community College is looking for an appointment after the Board Chair resigned.

Past Board chair David Harby resigned last month. The board is looking for a new member to fill his vacancy until the April election next year.

All applicants must be U.S. citizens 18 years or older and qualified elector/registered voters who live within Community College District #507. Individuals who already serve on a common school board would not be able to be re-elected.

Any applicant will need a letter of interest and resume. They can be mailed to Secretary to the Board of Trustees at Danville Area Community College, 2000 E. Main Street, Danville, IL, 61832, or emailed to materials are due by 4 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024.
