Carolyn Joy Wilkins, age 85, of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born January 3, 1938, in Conroe, TX, the daughter of the late Christine LeRoy and Mary Lucille Hoke Parsley.
Carolyn was retired office manager for Peoples Cleaners in Bay City, TX and as a secretary at Texas A & M University in College Station, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Carolyn enjoyed reading and listening to the choir at First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald Wilkins and one sister, Sue Ellen Wilkirson.
Carolyn is survived by one son, Phillip Wilkins of Arkadelphia, two daughters, Leslie White (James) of Arkadelphia and Nancy Benham of Haltom City, TX, one sister, LeRhea Porter of High Point, NC, five grandchildren, Matthew White, Rachel King (Brian), Mary Beth White, Grace Benham and Luke Benham.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 16, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.
