Dami Im was turning heads at the opening night of Eurovision On Tour at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on Friday night.

The X Factor star, 36, opted for a sleek, black gown with a pale pink accent at the bust.

She added a glittering collar necklace and a pair of statement drop earrings in a similar design.

The singer completed her ensemble with a pair of strappy silver heels that complimented her other accessories.

Dami opted for a clean makeup look with a soft pink blush and bright red lipstick while wearing her dark hair down and straight.

The pop star worked her angles on the red carpet, and opted to pose without her purse.

It comes after Dami opened up about the reality of juggling her successful music career with being a mother to a two-year-old son .

Dami said she feels being a mother is an 'added layer' to her identity and one that perfectly complements her singing career.

'I got married pretty early so I was always expected to grow up quickly and be a mum, and I still wanted to play around and work on my career,' she told Yahoo Lifestyle .

'So there was always this tension that I didn't even understand myself and where it was coming from.

'Once I'm a mum, am I meant to suddenly just become this old lady who just talks about their kids all the time?

'No, but I'm quite enjoying it, much more than I thought I would,' she joked.

Dami revealed it was an exciting time for her as her new EP called In Between was released this week - her first new music since becoming a mother.

'It will be funny because people actually won't know any of the songs except the few that are already out because the tour starts on the release day,' she said.

The South Korean-born star welcomed her son Harrison to the world in May, 2022, and last month revealed she sometimes 'grieves the loss' of her old life.

The stunner shot to fame when she won the fifth season of the singing competition before representing Australia in the 2016 Eurovision .

At the peak of her successful career, the songstress' life was upended by the birth of her son, whom she shares with husband Noah Kim, reported The Courier Mail .

'Looking back it was a really intense change of everything in my life. It was such a tough transition mentally, emotionally and physically,' Dami told the publication.

She went on to say she feared her singing career would tank after the birth of Harrison, saying her audience may see her as 'just a mum now'.

Ever the songwriter at heart, the Smile hitmaker channeled all her worries into her new EP called In Between, which was released on July 6.
