CHICAGO (WLS) - The Dan Ryan Expressway reopened on Sunday morning after a person was fatally struck. ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7.to watch The person was struck around 1:46 a.m. on the northbound lanes of I-94 near 82nd Street in the Chatham neighborhood, according to Illinois State Police. A White Volkswagen was driving northbound when it struck a pedestrian walking on the Dan Ryan Expressway. The pedestrian died at the scene. All northbound lanes were between 79th and 83rd are shut down for hours as police investigated.
