Daniel Craig, 56, is a silver fox in grey Loewe suit at Queer premiere in LA

Daniel Craig was serving pure silver fox as he attended the Los Angeles premiere of Queer, which was held inside the DGA Theater Complex on Wednesday.

The 56-year-old Englishman looked dapper in a grey-pinstripe bespoke Loewe double-breasted suit, estimated to cost $4,500, which was selected by stylist Taylor McNeill.

Daniel paired his wool suit with a white sheer top and $790 Loewe 'Flow Runner' sneakers.

Groomer Nicole Elle King made sure Craig's complexion was ready for his close-up beneath a $430 pair of Loewe 'Groove Round' sunglasses.

Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Loewe, just so happened to serve as costume designer on the €48M-budget experimental drama.

The Emmy-nominated actor was joined on the grey carpet by his black-clad onscreen leading man Drew Starkey who, at 31, is 25 years his junior.

Daniel portrays a thinly-veiled version of author William S. Burroughs in A24's big-screen adaptation of his 1985 novella about a love affair between two American expats in Mexico City back in the 1950s.

Craig spent months taking dance and movement classes with Starkey, whose drug-addicted character Eugene Allerton was based on Adelbert Lewis Marker.

'There's nothing like a good dance to break the ice,' the two-time Golden Globe nominee told ET on Wednesday.

'I think it did all sorts. It made us bond very quickly because we're both non-dancers and we both had to go through the pain barrier to get to a good position. It was really important to us.'

Daniel was thrilled to work with director Luca Guadagnino on Queer, which was banned by the Turkish government for 'provocative content that would endanger public peace and that the ban decision would be implemented for security reasons.'

Craig appeared to shared a hearty laugh with the 53-year-old Italian filmmaker during their red carpet reunion.

The Guildhall School of Music and Drama grad - who played gay roles in Knives Out and Angels in America - has spent the press tour relishing just how far his character William Lee is from his macho breakout character, James '007' Bond.

For the role, Daniel will next compete for the European Actor trophy at the 37th European Film Awards, which will be held December 7 at the Lucerne Culture and Congress Centre in Switzerland.
