Davenport police investigating shots fired incident outside a convenience store

Davenport police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Wednesday night outside a convenience store on Rockingham Road.
Police said the call was received at 7:12 p.m. at 2365 Rockingham Road, which is home to the Conoco gasoline station.
Police located evidence of shots fired outside the store, but no injuries were reported, and a victim was not on scene.
Rockingham Road was closed for about an hour as police investigated and collected evidence.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call the Davenport Police Department at 563-326-6125, Crime Stoppers of the Quad-Cities at 309-762-9500, or submit an anonymous tip via the "P3 Tips" mobile app or submit a tip online at "qccrimestoppers.com."
