Dax Shepard showed off his burly arms on Thursday morning as he hiked Griffith Park in Los Angeles .

The 49-year-old actor — whose wife is Kristen Bell — wore a white tank top with black and gray athletic shorts.

He displayed one of his heavily inked arms while toting a blue reusable water bottle and getting fresh air in a pair of gray and white Nike sneakers.

The Armchair Expert podcaster sported a pair of square-shaped sunglasses with clear frames.

It comes days after the star joked that his wife's onscreen kiss with Adam Brody 'shocked' him.

Shepard shared his reaction to seeing his wife of 11 years liplock with her Nobody Wants This costar while making an appearance at the New Yorker Festival in October.

He began by sharing that he watched the show, which has been renewed for a second season, with a friend.

'We watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I'd argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,' he said.

He recalled: 'And my best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, "Does she ever kiss you like that?"'

Shepard said he answered: 'No, I didn't even know she could kiss like that.'

Nobody Wants This became a Netflix hit after it premiered on the streamer in late September.

The rom-com follows Joanne, an agnostic sex podcaster portrayed by Bell, and Noah, a newly single rabbi played by Brody.

The unlikely duo fall in love, but their relationship becomes strained by their opposing religious beliefs and meddling families.

Bell previously opened up about her and her co-star's steamy scenes and how encouraging her spouse has been.

'Even I can acknowledge watching it, like, "Whoa, that's hot,"' Bell told E! News in early October.

She shared: 'My husband said the same thing. Like, watching the first episode he was like, "Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so badly."'

Bell also said that despite the sensual scenes, the performance was measured and logistical.

'I'm not trying to be reductive, but I think there's a math to it,' she explained.

'You have two actors that know how to stare deeply into each other's eyes, and you have to have the confidence to expand that and really sit the anticipatory value before the kiss — which I think is really important,' the actress said.
