High pressure dominates much of the eastern half of the country through tomorrow. That means dry weather here in the D.C. area as temperatures gradually warm. We’ll reach near 60 today and could approach 70 by Friday. A cold front could bring a few showers late Friday into early Saturday. But its main effect is a cooler weekend, including a breezy Saturday, with highs in the 50s.Today (Wednesday): More clouds than yesterday, but minus the gusty breeze. From the 30s to near 40 early this morning, we should top out in the upper 50s to near 60 this afternoon under partly sunny skies. Still a bit of a breeze, increasing to around 10 mph from the south by afternoon.
