Demolition funding approved for 167 local properties

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — More than 150 properties have received funding to assist with demolition.

The Ohio Department of Development reports a portion of $7,396,082 is being distributed between Greene, Miami and Montgomery counties for demolition of a combined 167 properties.

While the majority of the local properties that will see a change are in the cities of Dayton and Trotwood, other jurisdictions include Bowersville, Bradford, Fairborn, Fletcher, Harrison Township, Jamestown, Laura, Moraine, Piqua, Riverside, Tipp City, Troy, West Carrollton, West Milton and Xenia.
