Demolition scheduled for Adams County laundromat destroyed in 18-wheeler crash

An Adams County laundromat destroyed by an 18-wheeler crash has announced that the location will be demolished in efforts to rebuild in the near future, according to a Facebook post.
The Littlestown Laundry Center was hit by a tractor-trailer that had flipped and slid into the front of the business around 5:29 a.m. on Sept. 12. The tractor-trailer driver was flown to the hospital for their injuries.

The crash resulted in massive amounts of damage that community members banded together to help clean up.
"Littlestown is a little town, and when something happens, we go big," said Nicole Taylor, a neighbor across the street.

According to the demolition service, the building will be taken down next week.
