DENVER ( KDVR ) — After some morning clouds, sunshine returns for the second half of Friday, as highs top out in the upper 50s in the Denver weather forecast.

Weather today: Afternoon sunshine Clouds will stick around for the start of Friday, but they will clear by the afternoon. With afternoon sunshine, highs will make it to the upper 50s.

Weather tonight: Clear and cool Skies will be clear Friday night with a few passing clouds and light winds. Low temperatures will dip back into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Looking ahead: Mild weekend, snow on Tuesday Saturday looks nice in the metro, with sunny skies and highs in the lower 50s. The high country could see some light flurries through the day on Saturday, and the metro might also see a few.

Monday starts the next week with a mix of sun and clouds as highs make it to the lower 50s.

Tuesday brings changes with more clouds and chances for snow throughout the day. Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 30s with minimal accumulations.

Wednesday keeps it cooler in the lower 40s with bluebird skies.

Thursday is back to mainly sunny skies with highs near 50 degrees.
