An Ohio father traveled across state lines to allegedly meet up with underage girls for sex - and took his infant child along with him.

Ryan Loveless, 38, of Hillard, was arrested on Friday after Knox County Sheriff's Office Investigators were informed that the father made arrangements with a 15 and 16-year-old girl, police said.

When investigators asked Loveless why he brought his young child with him, he revealed it was 'due to not having a babysitter.'

The creep had directed the minors to travel to a hotel room he rented in Danville, Illinois , and told them to enter through the side door.

After learning of his plans, the Knox County State's Attorney's Office obtained an arrest warrant and located Loveless in the hotel parking lot.

His child received a medical evaluation and was turned over to family. The baby was not harmed.

The drive from Hillard, Ohio to Danville, Illinois takes more than four hours.

Loveless was taken to Knox County Jail and was seen in his mugshot wearing a bright yellow safety smock, often given to prisoners on suicide watch, according to cleveland.com.

The smocks, also known as 'turtle suits', are intentionally made of materials that can't be ripped, torn or bent, like a typical jumpsuit.

It stays secured by Velcro and does not have any zippers or buckles, which can easily become a weapon for prisoners to inflict harm on themselves.

The father is facing several charges, including four counts of indecent solicitation of a child, two counts of traveling to meet a child, two counts of grooming and two counts of solicitation to meet a child.

It is unclear when Loveless is expected to appear in court.

DailyMail.com contacted the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

Following the arrests, Knox County Sheriff Jack Harlan urged parents to be 'aware of their children's social media accounts and who they may be communicating with.'

The department noted the joint effort in capturing Loveless, crediting the Knox County Sheriff's Office, Vermillion County Sheriff's Office, and Danville Police Department for their help.

According to Loveless' Facebook account, he is a student at Columbia State Community College.

Just days before his arrest, he made several posts to his page, including one that read: 'Hey man... You're a Good Dad. That's All.'

On November 1, Loveless posted two pictures of himself, including one of him sporting a black cowboy hat and neon yellow sunglasses.
