DEVELOPING NOW: Suspect in custody; WPB Police investigate alleged robbery turned pursuit
A robbery turned police pursuit is currently under investigation on Friday.
The spokesperson for the West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) Mike Jachles said a reported robbery occurred on North Dixie Highway, off 20th Street. Jachles said he is unsure if the robbery was from a person or a business.
Jachles said police were able to chase the suspect car to the San Marco Villas at 800 Murano Drive, near the intersection of Congress Avenue and Blue Heron Boulevard.
The West Palm Beach Police Department and the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department are at the neighborhood investigating the scene.
