Devils’ Jack Hughes, Jesper Bratt finding elite scoring selves together: ‘We’re gonna pop’

Jack Hughes took the puck near the blue line, skated between the dots, faked left then quickly shifted right to leave a defender in the dust and into the heart of Montreal's defense, drawing enough eyes to allow Jesper Bratt to get wide open for a highlight assist and goal that set the tone for Thursday's game.

The Devils' top line duo created four of the team's goals in their 5-4 win against the Montreal Canadiens at the Prudential Center. Each recorded three points on Thursday. Hughes assisted two goals, including Bratt's first of the game, and scored his own a breakaway Bratt teed up.
