Dez Bryant calls for Cowboys to 'fire everyone,' hire Deion Sanders

The Dallas Cowboys (3-6), losers of their last four games, are tracking towards a fifth straight defeat and Dez Bryant is fed up.

Bryant, the former Dallas star wideout, took to X during the fourth quarter of the Cowboys' Week 11 home game against the Houston Texans (6-4) Monday, and offered a solution for his former team to get out of their current funk. Bryant called for team owner Jerry Jones to "fire everyone after this season," and make a run at Deion Sanders to be the next head coach.

"I'm the to the heart," Bryant wrote . "If I'm the Cowboys, I'd fire everyone after this season. There's young, hungry talent in the upcoming draft. Also, I'd consider as the next head coach."

Bryant's frustrations echo that of many Cowboys fans, as the team has taken a few steps back across the board in 2024. With quarterback Dak Prescott out for the remainder of the season after undergoing hamstring surgery last Wednesday, the losses could continue to pile up. That's trouble for head coach Mike McCarthy, who is out of a contract after this season.

That brings us to Sanders, as Bryant suggested. As we know, the Cowboys are the biggest brand in the . Sanders is the biggest brand in college football. Jones loves Dallas being in the spotlight. From every angle, it seems like a perfect fit. But would Sanders really be interested in leaving Colorado (8-2) given what he's built in a short amount of time? The Buffaloes, after going 4-8 in year one under Sanders, are the No. 17 team in the nation with a shot at playing for the Big 12 championship.

Sanders is still building something special in Boulder. And to this point, he's offered no indication of leaving college ball for the NFL — even for the Cowboys, whom he won a Super Bowl with in 1995.

"I love it where I am," Sanders repeatedly said when asked by Michael Irvin about the Cowboys' head coaching job during an appearance last week on " Speak " on FS1.

Sanders or not, there will certainly be changes in Dallas after this season.
