CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns suffered through a mistake-filled, painful afternoon in Denver as they were blown out by the Broncos on Sunday, 29-12 .

In the game, the Browns lost rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson to a concussion , Jordan Elliott to an ankle injury and Amari Cooper to a rib injury . Prior to being injured, Thompson-Robinson completed 14 of 29 passes for 134 yards and his first NFL touchdown.

The Browns defense had a hard time stopping the Broncos on the ground as Denver rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns. QB Russell Wilson added a TD pass.

On the other side of the ball, the Broncos and their red-hot defense took the ball away from the Browns three times, all on fumbles.

The Browns fell to 7-4 on the season and will stay out West another week before traveling to Los Angeles to take on the Rams.

Here is some of what social media said after the loss.

“I Just need to let out a little bit of steam!!!” former Browns kick returner Joshua Cribbs posted along with a GIF of The Incredible Hulk .

“So Flacco next week, eh? 4th QB in 12 games for a 7-4 football team. The oddest, in a collection of incredibly odd, Cleveland Browns football seasons,” Cody Suek of the Orange and Brown Report posted .

“they lost Nick Chubb in game two. they’re playing with a different quarterback every single week, and one of them (PJ Walker) is not even NFL caliber. if Joe Flacco starts next week, it will be their fourth different starter in 12 games. it’s a miracle they’re 7-4 and not 0-12,” Jordan Zirm of the Sporting News posted .

“The Browns ran it 16 times against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. That’s indefensible game planning. Flush today. The coach had a bad day. Just bad. You’re 7-4 and we all would have signed up for that at the start of the season. On to LA,” Fox college basketball announcer John Fanta posted .

“DISGUSTING!!!” former Browns running back Eric Metcalf posted .

“Injuries have been the story of this season. #Browns just plagued all year, every step of the way,” Camryn Justice of WEWS-TV posted.

“It’s been mostly great from Stefanski/Schwartz all year, but it was a clinic today from Payton/Joseph, what a gameplan. Anyone who knows the league knew today was going to be tough (you saw the spread right?). They have margin for error, but Myles/Cooper can’t be limited at all,” Anthony Lima of 92.3 The Fan posted .

“1) The defense got cooked by Russell Wilson today. 2) Without Denzel Ward, Greg Newsome struggles. 3) The team is fragile right now - so many injuries. 4) They can’t catch. DTR looked good, will have to play next week if healthy. If not, it’s Flacco time lol. Not fun today,” Grant Puskar of the Taking the Points podcast posted .

“I appreciate that despite playing just 1 quarter, PJ Walker remains committed to turning the ball over at least 2 times per game,” Nick Wilson of 92.3 The Fan posted .

“I’d cut P.J. Walker. They’ve already said that Flacco will be on the active roster at some point. Just go ahead and make Walker the guy to go,” Brandon Little of A to Z Sports posted .

“A loss here is manageable. The Browns will still be 7-4. But injuries to Myles Garrett & Amari Cooper are gravely concerning. These players must carry Cleveland because of the QB situation, which isn’t getting any better. NFL season is a war of attrition. Browns are losing,” Brett Sobleski of Bleacher Report posted .

“I thought DTR was pretty good before the injury, hopefully, he clears protocol. I think he gives you the best chance to win, and has the most upside. takes care of the ball well, makes solid choices and throws, and is a high-level athlete,” YouTube personality Quincy Carrier posted .

“I’m going to go watch Big Lebowski and try not to think about what happened this afternoon,” Ken Carman of 92.3 The Fan posted .

“Joe Flacco season begins next week #DawgPound ,” Tyler Johnson of the Faithful Dawgs podcast posted .

“It’s very conceivable the Browns could be without their five best players next week and starting Joe Flacco at quarterback,” Awful Announcing’s Ben Axelrod posted .
