How Long Has Nikki Glaser Been in a Relationship With Boyfriend Chris Convy?
The couple met in 2013 on set of Nikki's defunct MTV series Nikki & Sara. Nikki and Chris started dating shortly after getting to know each other.
"We met in New York, I had a show on MTV, it was my first TV show. He was a producer on the show and he was from St. Louis, where I was from," the FBoy Island host recalled to Graham Bensinger in October 2022.
Nikki admitted that she initially thought Chris was "cute" but was way "too fun" to be sober. She was one-year sober at the time and wasn't looking to date someone who regularly consumed alcohol. "I just had a crush from afar which was so fun because I was just pining for him constantly. It was very Jim and Pam [from The Office], I was Jim, and he had no idea."
However, they were never always fully "on" in their relationship as they faced ongoing hurdles in their path of growth.
"I have a fear of commitment," Nikki later admitted in the interview. "I didn't know [I had that fear]. I was always chasing guys and being like, 'Why doesn't anyone wanna commit to me?' But it was me."
Nikki also revealed that she is a "weirdo" and likes her " boyfriend to at least entertain the idea of being with other women or be with them."
"I think it's about, like, I want to be on HBO Max because I like HBO Max, and it's a cool platform. I want my show to be on a place that is a cool, shiny... I want things that other people want," she explained. "I wouldn't mind if [he] had a little fling with someone else, not like emotional. Even if she's hotter than me or looks different than me, I don't really care what she looks like."

"I always said when we got the show that it was going to be canceled one day. Everyone used to say, 'You're so negative,' but I'm not pretending that I just made it," she told Buffalo News at the time. "It might be pessimistic or not a great way to look at things always, but I was prepared to lose it at some point, just like I was prepared to lose my boyfriend. Most relationships don't last, and most TV shows don't last. It softens the brunt when those things blow up."
