Don Johnson and Jimmy Kimmel are no strangers to silly pranks from their children.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, the Rebel Ridge star, 74, sat down with the talk show host, 56, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where Don revealed that his actress daughter, Dakota Johnson , 35, was a "very eventful child," who always had a prank or two up her sleeve.

"You wanted to be very mindful about leaving blank sheets of paper laying around on your desk or stuff like that, the dad of five shared, "because she would promptly draw a large penis on it."

Kimmel, who lives just "next door" to Dakota, has also gotten used to finding penis-riddled paperwork in his home, thanks to his 7-year-old son Billy . "I did that to my dad too, and my son is doing it to me!" he said, joking, "Maybe that's the community we moved into."

In addition to Dakota's NSFW drawings, Don said, "If I would leave my phone laying around anywhere, just kind of unattended, she would get on the phone and somehow get into my contacts and send obscene messages to random people."

Don shares Dakota with his ex-wife Melanie Griffith . He's also a dad to sons Deacon, 18 and Jasper, 22, and daughter Atherton, 24, with his current wife, Kelley Phleger, as well as son Jesse, 41, with his previous partner, Patti D'Arbanville.

After Don and Phleger dropped off Deacon at the University of Southern California in August, the actor spoke to PEOPLE about his relationships with his children.

"He's my sixth and final one," Don tells PEOPLE. "I might have done my best work there," he says of his youngest son. He jokes, "I have a famous daughter who probably won't like to read that in print!"
