Donald Trump’s Univision Town Hall Postponed As Hurricane Milton Intensifies And Threatens Florida

Univision postponed Donald Trump 's planned town hall this week because of Hurricane Milton , which is rapidly intensifying and is predicted to make landfall in central Florida on Wednesday.

Trump's town hall was planned for Tuesday in Miami, but now has been rescheduled to Oct. 16.

Kamala Harris 's Univision town hall will continue as scheduled, with the event planned for Thursday. Both town halls will air at 10 p.m. ET.

Daniel Coronell, president of Noticias Univision, said in a statement, "The health and safety of everyone involved in this event is the highest priority."

The separate town halls are expected to be a significant event in the final weeks of the campaign, as both candidates seek the remaining undecided vote.

The current path of Milton is for central Florida and the Tampa area.
