Dorsey Lawson

Dorsey Lawson passed away at her home June 25, 2024, surrounded by family. After joyously raising a family, she used her gifts with languages and that same joy to teach children in public schools. She then played a leading role in establishing RESULTS, a citizens lobby, that bettered the lives of children throughout the world. Late in life she taught English to immigrants from around the world, bonding with her students. Dorsey led a profound spiritual life, practicing yoga and meditation.Dorsey is survived by four children, Michael, Melanie, Brian and Marcella; her sister, Shirley; her brother, Jack and several grandchildren.
