Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive backed DeMar DeRozan amid his beef with Drake by wearing a Kendrick Lamar shirt courtside on Wednesday.

The Toronto-based rapper ripped the Kings, and former Raptors, star on Saturday for appearing in Kendrick Lamar's 'They Not Like Us' music video amid the conflict between the hip-hop juggernauts.

When asked if the Raptors should retire DeRozan's number after nine years of service to the team, the 38-year-old said he would personally take down the banner if they did. Later in the game, he appeared to call DeRozan a 'p****.'

When the teams met again in Sacramento, 67-year-old Vivek was spotted wearing a sweater with 'They Not Like Us' printed in front as he enjoyed the action courtside at Golden One Center.

While DeRozan did not think much of his appearance in the music video, Drake did not take it lightly, undermining DeRozan's efforts for the Six after Vince Carter's jersey was retired.

DeRozan backing Lamar during the beef is no surprise as they both hail from Compton, California.

The six-time All-Star did not comment on his boss' shirt but was shown a different level of support in his first year with the franchise.

Toronto won Saturday's meeting in a 131-128 slugfest north of the border. However, the Kings would avenge the loss on their turf on Wednesday, winning 122-107.

DeRozan got the last laugh, leading the game in scoring with 27 points. Keegan Murray and De'Aaron Fox also clocked in 22 and 21 points, respectively for the Kings.

Meanwhile, star center Domantas Sabonis impressed with a triple-double, tallying 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists.

Sacramento improved to 5-3 as they gear up to face the Clippers on Friday. On the other hand, the Raptors are 2-5 with the Clips on deck for Thursday.
