Driver's unbelievable response after he was filmed crashing into the front yard of a Perth house and stumbling out of his car

Incredible footage captured the moment a driver crashed his car before stumbling out and offering a bizarre response to bystanders.

The shocking incident unfolded at Duncraig, in Perth 's north, on June 28 and was filmed by Luke Dewar with the footage uploaded to Reddit .

Mr Dewar was in the passenger seat of another vehicle and filmed a Holden Maloo ute after claiming the driver was 'acting really furious'.

'He was tailgating us for a while until he finally flew past us, almost hitting us,' Mr Dewar wrote.

The video showed the ute driving erratically in front of Mr Dewar's vehicle before it swerved around a corner.

'He's going to frigging kill someone, dude,' Mr Dewar's friend said.

The ute had spun 180 degrees and stopped against a fence with debris scattered over pavers, as smoke billowing from the back and an Australian flag flew in the background.

The ute driver stood in front of the open passenger door and appeared confused.

'You're a d**k! An absolute d**k, mate,' Mr Dewar's friend yelled at him.

'F**king hell ... what the f***? the ute driver said.

Residents ask what happened and Mr Dewar's friend informed them: 'He's the driver there — and he's a d***.'

'What's happened?' the driver asked.

'What do you mean what's happened? You're fried, mate,' Mr Dewar's friend said.

'I'm not, I'm not,' the driver said.

'It was an accident'.

'It was not an accident, you peanut,' Mr Dewar's friend said.

'There's kids around, mate, you would've killed someone.'

A Western Australian Police spokesman said a 40-year-old man had been charged over the incident.

'About 2.45pm, a Holden Maloo utility crashed into a tree outside a home on Guron Road in Duncraig,' a spokesman said.

'The driver then drove away from the scene, before the utility crashed into the wall of a property further down the road. A short time later, the 40-year-old male driver was arrested. He underwent a breath analysis test which allegedly provided a positive result.'

The man was charged with exceeding a blood alcohol concentration of 0.05 per cent, driving an unlicensed vehicle, driving with a cancelled license, and reckless driving in a confiscation zone.

'The utility was impounded,' the WA Police spokesman said.
