Drone Assists in Finding Vehicle Burglary Suspect in Culver City

A drone assisted in locating a suspect who allegedly broke into a vehicle in Culver City, authorities said Sunday.

A second suspect remained outstanding, according to the Culver City Police Department.

Officers responded at about 2:40 a.m. Thursday to a call of glass heard breaking and a possible burglary from a vehicle in the 5500 block of Kinston Avenue.

Officers quickly established a perimeter and, with the use of a drone, were able to find one of two suspects hiding under a vehicle in the area of Overland Avenue and Clarmon Place. The second suspect was not located.
