Dylan Raiola Drops 4 Manipulative Words After Nebraska Extends Offer to Athlete

J.Wright33 min ago
This is how a few words thrown around on social media can turn the recruiting scene around. We have not yet reached that point where Dylan Raiola was on the list of potential underrated young quarterbacks, right? But now? Now he's the guy at Nebraska and everything he does draws the attention of everybody including yours truly. I assure you that he certainly knows how to go about it. Recently, Raiola took the internet by storm, putting up on Instagram four words that seem to be more than sufficient to lure another big-shot player.

You see, Nebraska extended an offer to safety Jordan Allen, and Raiola immediately got on his Instagram story to write, "Talk to me brudda!!" It is not just a random way of asking people to notice him, it's a strategy. Dylan and Jordan have been friends for quite some time now starting in Buford, Georgia. The two have passed, and, as far as Nebraska is now targeting Allen, Raiola is on record. It's not just Nebraska that he's dabbling for, he has a personal vested quarter, and that makes this all the more intriguing.

These words are not a reminder from Raiola – The message is in the record number of deals. This is the same Dylan Raiola who is performing at Nebraska at the freshman QB level with 1,358 yards and 9TDs already. He is one of them, people in the context of recruiting pay attention to what he says.

Now, Jordan Allen, the LSU safety who Nebraska is after, has to be paying attention. Allen also has contributed to the team with 6 solo tackles this season and that he isn't any sort of weakling is evident by that. He's already been an SEC star. He's already been established as an SEC sensation. He's not hurting for options though, with choices such as Georgia, Florida, and Colorado all being schools that extended offers to him.

Dylan Raiola's mastermind moment Anyway, those four words were not chosen arbitrarily. There is a relationship between Raiola and Allen because both of them are from Buford, Georgia. Now Raiola is the quarterback of Nebraska, but they used to run the same circles back in the day. Allen himself was on the receiving end of some of the bombs from Dylan's younger brother, Dayton Raiola last week. So yeah, they go way back. This is not mere recruitment – it's deeply so.

That being said, we all know that Nebraska is attempting to create something colossal here, with Raiola being at the helm. Getting Jordan Allen to come along for the ride? That's the next step. In essence, Raiola's Instagram post looks like a page out of the recruiting manual, but with a twist. By naming Allen, Raiola is saying that let Nebraska come to get him, and Raiola himself is spearheading the campaign to get him to Nebraska. In so many words that's daring but why not, when you're Raiola and you possess such talent, why not?

However, for Allen things are going to be quite challenging. He is going to make a crucial decision. Nebraska is interested in him, but that just ain't it. He has been getting attention from Clemson, Michigan, and Tennessee, who have also offered him a chance to play for them. Needless to say, we also have LSU behind him and he is already showing his worth on the defensive facet of the game. Allen is in a bit of a pickle now that is getting a Power 5 offer sheet that reads as long as a touchdown pass.

All things considered, this whole situation has a lot to tell about Raiola's role or Nebraska's recruiting strategy. As the offers continue to scoot around and the Instagram posts brighten the internet, one must know the Cornhuskers are going places. The only question left is: Will Jordan Allen answer the call?

One can only say that–whatever comes next is going to be the stuff of spectacle.
