Sports Dylan Raiola Transfer Talk Escalates After Friday's Game

The Nebraska Cornhuskers entered Friday's game against Illinois with a 3-0 record and all sorts of momentum.

One of the main reasons why is due to the stellar play of Dylan Raiola, who ended up at Nebraska after originally being committed to Georgia.

On Friday against Illinois, Raiola threw three touchdown passes but had a costly interception as Illinois got the huge 31-24 upset in Lincoln .

After the loss , fans immediately began predicting Raiola entering the transfer portal again.

"Prediction: Dylan Raiola transfers to Georgia at some point in his college career," UGA Football Live wrote on X .

"So does Raiola transfer to Texas or Bama after this year?" wrote on X as part of a thread .

"Just wait till Raiola transfers to Georgia and wins the Natty," Zach Roper wrote on X in a reply to a Nebraska fan.

Another fan mentioned the same thing about Georgia.

"Gonna be ashame when Raiola transfers to Georgia next season," Eddy Wynn wrote.

"Raiola is going to transfer somewhere else and be a Heisman finalist. Bookmark it. #Pain "

Another fan wondered where Raiola will transfer next year.

Last but certainly not least, a fan wrote about which SEC school will lure Raiola will a massive NIL package.

"Watching Nebraska, and wondering what SEC school is gonna sign Raiola to a massive NIL deal next year."

Raiola is still having a terrific freshman campaign, but losing like this to Illinois, at home, might have fans wondering if he will consider leaving.

On the other hand, Raiola was committed to Georgia before changing his mind and ending up at Nebraska. His father, Dominic, also played for the Cornhuskers, so the family ties were strong for Dylan.

Nonetheless, the season is young, and Nebraska will have a chance to respond with games against Purdue and Rutgers before a bye, and then facing Indiana and Ohio State.
