Eagle Mountain Elementary School in Batesville closed after Monday morning fire

BATESVILLE, Ark. – An elementary school in Batesville will be closed Monday morning after school district officials said a small fire broke out on the campus.

Officials with the Batesville School District said the fire broke out at the Eagle Mountain Elementary School earlier Monday.

School district officials said the Batesville Fire Department quickly responded and was able to extinguish the fire. Officials have not released the cause of the fire.
